Bartlett’s Farm is Nantucket Island’s oldest and largest family owned farm. The Bartlett Family has been farming the same land since arriving on Nantucket in the early 1800’s. These days, the farm offers fresh fruits and vegetables, including our famous corn and tomatoes. There’s always something growing… we start harvesting our greens and herbs in late winter and the first crop of greenhouse tomatoes are usually ready before the first day of summer. All summer long you’ll find squash, zucchini, peppers, beets, carrots, lettuce, spinach, arugula and so much more. Throughout the fall we’ll harvest many varieties of winter squash, broccoli, cauliflower, potatoes and onions. We are also proud to offer greens and herbs that are certified organic by Baystate Organics. Every year we continue to increase the number of products that are grown with organic farming methods. But even if its not certified you can be sure that we are cultivating our fields using sustainable growing methods like Integrated Pest Management. We care as much about our beautiful island as anyone else, and we want to see it flourish for generations to come.
We have a full-service kitchen available every day for sandwiches, salads, delicious side dishes and dinners to go. We also host monthly farm to table dinners that are popular with residents and visitors alike.
We sell our farm grown produce and many other specially selected products in our market that opened for business in March 2006. The market offers a wide selection of organic foods, pre-prepared meals, and household staples to stock your kitchen.
Connected to our market is our wonderful garden center that houses a vast collection of farm grown annuals, perennials, herbs and shrubs to keep your garden abundant from spring through fall. Our garden herbs and vegetable starts are certified organic and we offer expert advice along with everything you need to grow beautiful and delicious plants in your own home or garden.
